Wow. Those look like in-game graphics to me. Just wow. For those of you who've never heard of MechWarrior before, it's basically a game that puts you in the cockpit of a giant robot. It's not an fps though, it's a proper simulator, just like a flight sim or a racing sim. If your mech overheats it will temporarily shut down for example, if it's loaded up with ammo the heat may even cause it to explode. If you get your mech to water though that will help keep your temperature down. The series has always produced some really great moments because of this level of detail. You get to pick from a number of pre configured mechs but the most fun comes from building your own. If you opt to build your own you'll be able to pick from a veriety of frames and then decide what weapons, ammo, and gadgets your mech will be kitted out with and where each item is placed. You'll also need to decide how much armor and how many heat-sinks will be added to each section of the mech. Each item will have to be carefully considered though as everything adds weight (which slows the mech down) and almost always generates heat when used. It's a blast and I'm really looking forward to it. |

that does look pretty intense although the gameplay is still very standard... ie: stand and shoot till one dies/hide behind a wall a bit
i remember the original game i never rly understood it, i remember getting a leg blown off mid mission and i was unable to move |
